福建泉州外國語學校簡介

校標的設計靈感來自正在成長中的兩顆幼芽，它們被充分地包圍著，意在向大眾傳達:福建泉州外國語學校能給孩子們提供一個非常適合成長的環境,給予無微不至的關懷。其中星星的設計，預示在泉州外國語學校的“搖籃”中把孩子培養成學習之星及未來之星。中間圖形由地球演化而來，代表著泉州外國語學校的世界性、包容性，寓意為學好本領同行天下心的學習目的。

The school badge is designed to be a pair of sprouting buds that are fully embraced, meaning that Fujian Quanzhou Foreign Language School aims to provide students with a caring environment for their development in every possible way. The surrounding stars symbolize the promising future of the children growing in the cradle of the school. The figure in the middle also represents earth that is emblematic of both the inclusive and expansive characteristics of the school, a message that encourages students to pursue their study with a global outlook.

辦學特色：學校外語優勢突出，與美、英、加、澳等多個國際知名院校和教育機構建立合作關系，積極開展師生國際交流。常年聘任外籍教師進行口語教學，開設第二外語，實現外語小班化教學，并引入雙外語教材體制，全面提升學生聽、說、讀、寫、譯、辯、演的外語綜合能力，開設小語種課程，推進小語種高考，開設中加、中美國際課程實驗班，為學生走向世界名校架設安全、通暢橋梁。學校已成為泉州市乃至福建省具有廣泛影響的外語特色學校，成為當地優質教育資源。同時學校完善文理學科基礎課程建設，開設書法、美術、聲樂、器樂、舞蹈、籃球、棋類等興趣課程，加強藝術教育和體育工作，全面提升學生的文化素養和藝術素養，促進學生的多元化發展。

The school motto “Good Virtues, Serious Learning, Earnest Practice" was formulated by Mr. Li Dewen, the chairman of the school. Character Pin means virtues and character Xue means learning, point out the purpose of school education from the two main perspectives of student growth. The school guides students with correct ideas and shapes students with lofty sentiments to cultivate excellent students academically and physically. It facilitates approaches to training comprehensive skills for the new century with international competitiveness and innovative spirit.
